Tai Chi | David Chosid

Tai chi is an internal art that improves health, vitality, strength, balance, posture, flexibility and circulation, as well as providing stress reduction and a number of other benefits. Often called a moving meditation, tai chi is usually performed with slow, intentional movements in complete relaxation. Tai chi is also a dynamic form of Qigong, a group of exercises that develop the practitioner's health. Along with tai chi, we practice various other Qigong exercises.

David Chosid has been practicing tai chi and qigong since 1998. He specializes in the Guang Ping Yang style of tai chi chuan or "old style Yang" as a 7th generation practitioner from the Wen Wu School and Peter Kwok's Kung Fu Academy. He is currently the president of the non-profit, Guang Ping Yang Tai' Chi Association.
